I have seen many ideas and tutorials using the floating frame technique and thought I would use the selection of cogs from the Geared Up Garage to create the frame using the Press n seal film and stitched rectangle frames. The frame was attached to the tranquil Tide card layer with either 3d foam pads to give dimension or layered flat with glue.Using 3d foam pads was very intricate and time consuming!!
The car was stamped in versamark onto Tranquil Tide card, heat embossed with silver powder and die cut
The centre waste piece from the frame was used to create a second card. This was again either glued flat or placed on 3D foam pads

The second car was heat embossed with silver powder onto black card. The layers were embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder
The Geared Up Garage stamp set and co-ordinating framelits have been carried over to the new Annual Catalogue.
