The petals were shaped using a Bone Folder to add dimension
and make them look realistic and natural and using a Sponge Dauber with
Daffodil delight ink to add a bit of color to the center of the bloom.
The layers were assembled onto a 1 inch punched circle by applying Glue to the center
of each layer as you stack them. Cut one stamen in from Daffodil Delight card stock using the Magnolia Memory Dies.

The large magnolia stamp was inked in Black and stamped onto whisper white cardstock and only the leaves were coloured in with Old Olive ink and an aquapainter. The magnolia bloom was adhered onto the leaves.
The beautiful intricate lace background was created from the Stitched Lace die
As the depth of the card is too wide for a normal envelope, we made a co-ordinating envelope box with the retired envelope punchboard
