Hello everyone, I have two cards to share with you today. One is a fabulous card technique called Herringbone technique and the second is an easel card.

You can see the original post for the herringbone card HERE

This technique is very easy and a great way to use up some of your scraps.

I cut several strips 1/2″ wide of different designs of paper and placed them on some wide double sided tape which was adhered to a piece of white cardstock.

The strips were stuck to the double sided tape overlapping the edges, when completed the strips were trimmed close to the card and then i placed it through an embossing folder to give it added dimension. I used the Absolutely Argyle 3d embossing folder.

It was then matte and layered onto the Pretty Peacock card and the white card base, and decorated with a choice of sentiment

The second card I am sharing today is an easel card which I have used the tufted 3D embossing folder as a base layer in So Saffron and the exquisite NEW Ornate Layer dies

The Sale-a-bration Happy Birthday To You stamp set was used to decorate the front panel and coloured in with blends but any large image could be used for this type of card.
