This
is one of the cards we made at a recent class, which I haven’t shared yet and doesn’t
need a lot of explanation. ‘The Box in a card’ is a 3D card that collapses
flat in an envelope for ease of packaging, prevents damage in transit and cheap
postage. It reminds me of the pop-up books I had as a child….

There
are lots of variations of these on the internet, but here are the 2 I made in
class, that  are just perfect when you
need a special card, that is unique and different and you can add your own
touch of class. It is also fun to make….

Both
of my sister-in-laws celebrated a special (maybe not to them though!) their
50th birthday last week and I just knew I had to make one each for them
(Obviously I had to include the big 50). They were both thoroughly amazed by the
design and detail.

I
used a variety of stamps including Mixed Bunch, Flower Shop and Petite Petals
for the flowers and the leaves were rolled out on the big shot with the secret
garden framelits. I also used the papillon potpourri butterflies, circle and
scalloped circle punches and label love stamps
I
hope you like my versions of the card in a box

If
there is enough demand, I can even put on another class. Please let me know if
you are interested?
