Over the next few days I will be posting several blogs from the last few weeks. I have been that busy doing the usual card classes, two Christmas stamp-a-stack etc. that life is only just catching up with me.

We are now on the final holiday of the year organised by Paul, so finally have time to sit and think… We are currently in the middle of crossing the Atlantic Ocean on a cruise to New York, which is far from relaxing, with too much to see, do and eat, believe it or not, even some sunbathing this morning! I’m told there were some scholes of dolphins early in the day, but we missed them and even breakfast.

Anyway enough of today, a couple to weeks ago, the ladies who attended the card classes encountered more than they were expecting; creating three cards instead of the usual two!

These cards were created by cutting out the houses, using one of the ‘sleigh ride’ edgelits from one piece of white card and rather than wasting the cut out, we used it to create the second card I.e. They are a silhouette of each other. Both cards were then finished off by layering onto some island indigo card, a snow-flake and sentiment. Very simple 2 colour design, but extremely effective.

The next card is also a simple and quick card to create by stamping the snow scene on the main card and  then punching a circle from a separate front white piece, embossing it with snowflakes and placing on 3D pads over the image.

I am just waiting for another show to start, So I had better sign off now but will be back soon with another post
